Hotel Paradies
Hotel Paradies was a sitcom that aired on ZDF with a total of 27 episodes. It aired twice a week from January 16, 1990, to April 12, 1990, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:50 PM. The show was written by Herbert Lichtenfeld. From episodes 1 to 12, Claus-Peter Witt was the Director, being replaced in episodes 13 to 27 with Michael Günther. The series premiere on January 16, 1990, gave ZDF 17.82 million viewers during prime time. Plot The married couple Max and Lisa Lindemann run the ''Hotel Paradies'' as a family business on the Spanish island of Mallorca, which accommodates mainly German vacationers. The two sons Frank, paraplegic since a serious accident, and Michael, a motorcycle freak and heartthrob, help their parents at the reception and grandpa also makes himself useful. Herbert Lichtenfeld
Herbert Lichtenfeld (16 June 1927 in Leipzig – 11 December 2001 in Hamburg) was one of the most successful television screenplay writers in Germany. He wrote over 300 film scripts. Many of his scripts were successful in Germany. Life After graduating in Leipzig, Lichtenfeld moved into the Federal Republic, and there worked as a reporter on several newspapers. In the 1960s he became the television correspondent for Hörzu magazine. At this time he started to write radio plays and books. From 1968 he worked full-time as a screenplay writer. His first television film ''Deutschlandreise'' (German Journey) (1970, co-production between NDR and NRK) was awarded with the Grimme-Preis. Walo Lüönd (born 13 April 1927 in Zug, died 17 June 2012 in Locarno) was a Switzerland, Swiss movie actor, best known for his role in the movie ''The Swissmakers'' (''Die Schweizermacher'') along with comedian Emil Steinberger (actor), Emil Steinberger. He has had roles in 102 films and television shows. He had been married with Eva-Maria Bendig since 1957; they have two children, Daniel (1957-1987) and Oliver (b. 1958). He died on 17 June 2012, at the age of 85 in a hospital in Locarno, Ticino, due to pneumonia after suffering a hip fracture in his residence in Losone. His funeral took place on Tuesday, 26 June, in Untersiggenthal in the canton of Aargau. Life and career Youth and initial success Diether Krebs was born on 11 August 1947 in Essen, the son of a stationery shop owner.
