Hotch Potch House
''Hotch Potch House'' is a 1996 BBC television series aimed at preschool children. It stars Richard Coombs as Raggs, Francis Wright (''Art Attack'') as Shelley and Rebecca Nagan (''Rosie and Jim'') as Woolie. It was directed by Vivienne Cozens and shot at Grip House Studios. The stated aim is to "have the puppets teach children about their emotions and feelings in a way that relates to them." The show features puppetry, animation and live-action scenes. Pigeon Street
''Pigeon Street'' is a cutout animated children's television series, written by Michael Cole, originally shown on the BBC in 1981 as part of its 'See-Saw' strand for preschoolers. There were two series with eight and five episodes respectively, each programme lasting 15 minutes. The series was repeated a number of times until 1994. The animation was created by Alan Rogers and Peter Lang of the Cut-Out Animation Co., who later went on to do a nursery rhyme series with similar animation called '' Rub-A-Dub-Dub''. Voices were performed by George Layton, with additional voices by John Telfer. Music was by Benni Lees, and played by Soulyard. El Nombre
''El Nombre'' is a children's educational programme about an anthropomorphism, anthropomorphic Mexico, Mexican gerbil character, originally from a series of educational sketches on ''Numbertime'', the BBC schools programme about mathematics. He was also the only character to appear in all ''Numbertime'' episodes. His voice was provided by Steve Steen, while the other characters' voices were provided by Sophie Aldred, Kate Robbins, and (from 1999) former ''Blue Peter'' host Janet Ellis. Croissants
A croissant is a buttery, flaky, Austrian viennoiserie pastry inspired by the shape of the Austrian kipferl but using the French yeast-leavened laminated dough.
