Hot Wheels AcceleRacers
''Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers'' is a 2005 computer-animated series of four films produced by Canadian company Mainframe Entertainment, which also produced the television series ''ReBoot''. Available on DVD and VHS, it has also been shown on Cartoon Network. A sequel to the 2003 film '' Hot Wheels: World Race'', the series takes place two years after the World Race in California and puts Mattel's Hot Wheels toy cars in a ''ReBoot''-like situation. The films were distributed by Warner Bros. Television and the soundtrack was distributed by Sony BMG. A collectible card game, which was shown in the DVD bonus, and other merchandise were also made. Four specials were aired on Cartoon Network in 2005: ''Ignition'' (January 8), ''The Speed of Silence'' (March 19), ''Breaking Point'' (June 25) and ''The Ultimate Race'' (October 1). Brian Drummond (born August 10, 1969) is a Canadian voice actor. He formerly served on the board of directors for the New Westminster-based Urban Academy along with his wife, Laura Drummond, also a voice artist. Usually working in Vancouver, he tends to be cast as an antagonist. Career Drummond was born in Salmon Arm, British Columbia. A graduate of the acclaimed Studio 58, he started out as a theatre actor, but eventually found himself moving into voice acting full-time. ''Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5'' is a 3D CGI science fiction sports animated television series created by Mattel, Nelvana Limited, and Nerd Corps Entertainment, based on the Hot Wheels toy line by the American toy maker, Mattel which was introduced in 1968. A two-episode preview aired on Cartoon Network in the United States on August 24, 2009; it was shown on Cartoon Network India starting on April 30, 2010 and on Cartoon Network Philippines from July 3, 2010. The series made its official debut on August 29, 2009. According to a HotWheels.com page as of July 14, 2010 describing "BATTLE FORCE 5 Battle Action Assortment" toys, vehicles combine forces to create even more powerful combat machines.
