Hossan Leong
Hossan Leong (; born 10 July 1969) is a Singaporean stage and screen actor, television host, radio deejay and comedian. Personal life He was born 10 July 1969 in Singapore, Leong was educated at Anglo-Chinese School and Anglo-Chinese Junior College and studied electronics at the French-Singapore Institute, which was since transferred in February 1993 and currently part of Nanyang Polytechnic. Career Leong started his showbiz career as a television actor and starred in several TCS English and Chinese language dramas during the 1990s before diversifying into theatre and comedy. Having learned French while studying at the French-Singapore Institute, he is fluent in the language and worked with the Alliance française for some time. In 2010 he was conferred the Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. Besides acting, Leong was also a radio deejay with Gold 90.5FM. One Leg Kicking
''One Leg Kicking'' is a 2001 Singaporean comedy-film movie about several soccer amateurs who compete in a soccer event for the 2002 World Cup Finals. The main actors of this movie are Gurmit Singh as Tai Po and Mark Lee as Handsome. Plot Tai Po and Vernon are shown to have a common pastime of playing soccer. Later, Tai Po enters a Youth Soccer Competition in a tryout, but gets hurt with his leg bleeding. Since that event, Tai Po appears to shun matches of soccer on the radio or on television while at work. Handsome Toh is then shown into the film, released from prison as an ex-convict, also with Kim, who writes to her home back overseas. The Rocky Horror Show
''The Rocky Horror Show'' is a musical with music, lyrics and book by Richard O'Brien. A humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through to the early 1960s, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist, Dr Frank-N-Furter, unveiling his new creation, Rocky, a sort of Frankenstein-style monster in the form of an artificially made, fully grown, physically perfect muscle man complete "with blond hair and a tan". We Are Singaporeans
We Are Singaporeans is a game show that aired on Singaporean English language channel Mediacorp Channel 5 about everything and anything Singapore from history to culture to trivia. Hosted by Hossan Leong and Najip Ali (Season 4), contestants will get the chance to walk away with up to $20,000 every week. The show, which will run for 15 weeks, will feature guest appearances by local celebrities and icons who will ask contestants questions relating to a particular topic. The game show title was derived from a segment of the series '' The Noose'', which became a recurring joke. ''Chang & Eng'' is a Singaporean musical theatre production directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham based on the lives of the Siamese twins, Chang and Eng Bunker. The music and lyrics were by Ken Low, with the book by Ming Wong, costumes by Niphon Tuntiyothin, set design by Thoranisorn Pitikul, lighting by Thio Lay Hoon, orchestral arrangement by Iskandar Ismail and choral direction by Babes Condes.
