Hoshmand Banu Begum
Hoshmand Banu Begum ( fa, هوشمند بانو بیگم; born 1605), meaning "The Prudent Lady", was a Mughal princess, the daughter of Prince Khusrau Mirza, and the granddaughter of Mughal emperor Jahangir. Early life Hoshmand Banu Begum was born in 1605. Jahangir noted in his memoirs that the astrologers told him that her birth would not be auspicious for her father but would be auspicious for him. Jahangir met her when she turned three, as the astrologers had augured. Marriage In 1625, Prince Hushang Mirza, the second son of Prince Daniyal Mirza, and the grandson of Akbar, paid homage at the court. His elder brother Prince Tahmuras Mirza also attained the honour of paying homage. In order to honour them, Jahangir married Hoshmand Banu to Hushang, and Bahar Banu Begum, his own daughter to Tahmuras. Shah Jahan
Shihab-ud-Din Muhammad Khurram (5 January 1592 – 22 January 1666), better known by his regnal name Shah Jahan I (; ), was the fifth emperor of the Mughal Empire, reigning from January 1628 until July 1658. Under his emperorship, the Mughals reached the peak of their architectural achievements and cultural glory. The third son of Jahangir (), Shah Jahan participated in the military campaigns against the Rajputs of Mewar and the Lodis of Deccan. Dawar Bakhsh ( fa, داور بخش; died 23 January 1628), which means "God Given", was the ruler of the Mughal Empire for a short time between 1627–1628, immediately after the death of his grandfather Jahangir (r. 1605–1627). Shahryar Mirza
Salef-ud-din Muhammad Shahryar (6 January 1605 – 23 January 1628), better known as Shahryar Mirza , was the fifth and youngest son of the Mughal emperor Jahangir. After Jahangir's death, Shahryar made an attempt to become emperor, supported by his one in influence and powerful stepmother Nur Jahan, who was also his mother-in-law. The succession was contested and though Shahryar exercised power, based in Lahore, from 7 November 1627 to 19 January 1628, he was defeated and was killed at the orders of his brother Khurram, better known as Shah Jahan once he took the throne. Bahar Banu Begum ( fa, بهار بانو بیگم; 9 October 1590 - 8 September 1653), meaning "The Blooming Lady", was a Mughal princess, the daughter of Mughal emperor Jahangir. Birth Bahar Banu Begum was born on 9 October 1590, during the reign of her grandfather Emperor Akbar. Her mother was Karamsi, the daughter of Raja Keshav Das of the Rathore family. On the same day, Jagat Gosain, the daughter of Udai Singh of Marwar, gave birth to another daughter named Begum Sultan Begum.
