Horsey (film)
''Horsey'' is a 1997 Canadian independent film starrinHolly Fergusonand Todd Kerns that was directed bKirsten Clarkson Described in its tagline as "A Gritty Tale of Love, Ambition, and Addiction", the film was the first film for actors Kerns and Ferguson, as well as for director and writer Kirsten Clarkson. Although Ferguson would go on to act in several other films and TV series (including 2005's ''Dark Water''), neither Kerns nor Clarkson would work on another film (as of 2007). Plot The film features Kerns, a Canadian rock musician famous for his work with Age of Electric, as a heroin-addicted artist and rocker named Ryland Yale. Todd Kerns
Todd "Dammit" Kerns is a Canadian musician who has worked with several Canadian bands, most notably The Age of Electric. Kerns is currently the bass guitarist and back up vocalist for Slash in the band Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. Career 1989–2000 The Age of Electric etc. Kerns fronted and played guitar in the hard rock band The Age of Electric, with his brother John Kerns on bass, Ryan Dahle on guitar, backing vocals, and Kurt Dahle on drums and backing vocals. The band's most successful release was 1997's '' Make a Pest a Pet''. The album produced the radio rock hit "Remote Control", which peaked at No. 9 on the singles chart in Canada and resulted in the album being certified gold in Canada in 1998. Dark Water (2005 Film)
''Dark Water'' is a 2005 supernatural horror film directed by Walter Salles and written by Rafael Yglesias. It is a remake of the 2002 Japanese film of the same name, which was inspired by the short story " Floating Water" by Koji Suzuki, who also wrote the ''Ring'' trilogy. The film stars Jennifer Connelly, John C. Reilly, Pete Postlethwaite, Perla Haney-Jardine, Dougray Scott and Ariel Gade. ''Dark Water'' was released on July 8, 2005, and grossed $44–49 million worldwide. It is a co-production between the United States and Japan. Plot Dahlia battles her ex-husband Kyle for custody of their daughter Cecilia, a five-year-old kindergartener. Kyle wants Cecilia to live closer to his apartment in Jersey City, but Dahlia wants to move to the cheaper Roosevelt Island, where she has found a good school. The Age of Electric is a Canadian rock band founded in 1989 with members from Lanigan and Regina, Saskatchewan. The members are Todd Kerns (vocals/guitar), Ryan Dahle (guitar/backing vocals), John Kerns (bass), and Kurt Dahle (drums/backing vocals). History The Age of Electric band was conceived by Todd Kerns and Kurt Dahle circa 1986 and was born in April 1989, after waiting for their two younger brothers, John Kerns and Ryan Dahle, to graduate high school. The Dahle brothers traveled two hours north from their home in Regina, Saskatchewan to the Kerns brothers small home town of Lanigan. The band's commercial breakthrough came with their independent EP ''Ugly'' in 1993, which set the stage for the major label release of their self-titled album in 1995. Michael Roberds (January 18, 1964 – May 15, 2016) was a Canadian actor who starred in YTV's ''The New Addams Family'' as Uncle Fester. Early life Roberds began reading by the age of three.
