Horror Vacui is the sixth studio album from the Italian nu metal band, Linea 77. It was released on February 8, 2008. It is the first work produced by Universal and in which Linea 77 collaborated with the producer Toby Wright. The title of the album is linked to cenophobia and the theme of the emptiness of life. Linea 77 is an Italian metal band formed in 1993. " Inno all'odio," a song from their fifth studio album, '' Available for Propaganda'' was featured on the soundtrack of ''FIFA 06''. In visual art, horror vacui (, ; ), also referred to as kenophobia (from ), is the filling of the entire surface of a space or an artwork with detail. In physics, '' horror vacui'' reflects Aristotle's idea that "nature abhors an empty space." Origins Italian art critic and scholar Mario Praz used this term to describe the excessive use of ornament in design during the Victorian age. Other examples of horror vacui can be seen in the densely decorated carpet pages of Insular illuminated manuscripts, where intricate patterns and interwoven symbols may have served "''apotropaic'' as well as decorative functions." Tiziano Ferro
Tiziano Ferro (; born 21 February 1980) is an Italian singer, songwriter, producer and author. He broke through in 2001 with his international hit single "Perdono" and has remained commercially successful since then, in several countries. Ferro has released a Spanish version of each of his albums and has also sung in English, Portuguese, and French. Known as the modern face of Italian pop music, he frequently writes songs for other artists and has produced albums for Giusy Ferreri, Alessandra Amoroso and Baby K.
