Horodnia Urban Hromada
Horodnia ( uk, Городня ) is a city in Chernihiv Raion, Chernihiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It has a city status since 1957. Horodnia hosts the administration of Horodnia urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Geography Horodnia is situated on both banks of the Chibrizh river. History For the first time, Horodnia was mentioned in historical literature at the beginning of the 17th century. There are different ideas about the origin of its name. The pride of citizens is three cannons presented by Peter I for the heroism of the people of Horodnia during the Swedish invasion in 1709. Until 18 July 2020, Horodnia was the administrative center of Horodnia Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Chernihiv Oblast to five. Gorodnyansky Uyezd (''Городнянский уезд'') was one of the subdivisions of the Chernigov Governorate of the Russian Empire. It was situated in the western part of the governorate. Oleksiy Valeriyovych Honcharuk ( uk, Олексі́й Вале́рійович Гончару́к, ; born 7 July 1984) is a Ukrainian politician. He served as the Prime Minister of Ukraine from 29 August 2019 to 4 March 2020 following a landslide parliamentary election win. Honcharuk was replaced by Denys Shmyhal during the formation of the Shmyhal Government. Levko Hryhorovych Lukianenko ( uk, Левко́ Григо́рович Лук'я́ненко; 24 August 1928 – 7 July 2018) was a Ukrainian politician, Soviet dissidents, Soviet dissident, and Hero of Ukraine. He was one of the founders of Ukrainian Helsinki Group in 1976 and was elected a leader of the revived Ukrainian Helsinki Group, the Ukrainian Helsinki Association, in 1988. Hero of Ukraine (HOU; uk, Герой України, ''Heroi Ukrainy'') is the highest national title that can be conferred upon an individual citizen by the President of Ukraine. Great Northern War
The Great Northern War (1700–1721) was a conflict in which a coalition led by the Tsardom of Russia successfully contested the supremacy of the Swedish Empire in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. The initial leaders of the anti-Swedish alliance were Peter I of Russia, Frederick IV of Denmark–Norway and Augustus II the Strong of Saxony– Poland–Lithuania. An oblast ( uk, о́бласть; ) in Ukraine, often called a region or province, is the main type of first-level administrative division of the country. Ukraine's territory is divided into 24 oblasts, as well as one autonomous republic, Crimea, and two cities with special status, Kyiv and Sevastopol.
