Hormando Vaca Díez (April 30, 1949 – February 9, 2010 in Warnes, Santa Cruz) was the President of the Senate of Bolivia, the upper house of the Bolivian National Congress, from 2003 to August 2005. Santa Cruz Department (Bolivia)
Santa Cruz () is the largest of the nine constituent departments of Bolivia, occupying about one-third (33.74%) of the country's territory. With an area of , it is slightly smaller than Japan or the US state of Montana. The Plurinational Legislative Assembly ( es, Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional) is the national legislature of Bolivia, placed in La Paz, the country's seat of government. Carlos Diego de Mesa Gisbert (; born 12 August 1953) is a Bolivian historian, journalist, and politician who served as the 63rd president of Bolivia from 2003 to 2005.
