	Alan Hopgood Alan John Hopgood AM (29 September 1934 – 19 March 2022), also known as Alan Hopwood, was an Australian actor, producer, and writer. He wrote the screenplay for the 1972 film ''Alvin Purple'' and made appearances in television shows such as '' Bellbird'', ''Prisoner'' and '' Neighbours''. 	Don Hopgood Donald Jack Hopgood (born 5 September 1938) is a former South Australian politician who was the 5th Deputy Premier of South Australia from 1985 to 1992. Hopgood represented the House of Assembly seats of Mawson from 1970 to 1977 and Baudin from 1977 to 1993 for the South Australian Branch of the Australian Labor Party, and was promoted to the Labor frontbench in 1973. 	Hoon-Yung Hopgood Hoon-Yung Hopgood (born December 8, 1974) is a former member of the Michigan State Senate, representing the 6th district (formerly numbered as the 8th district) from 2011 until 2018. He is a Democrat and a former member of the Michigan State House of Representatives. He represented roughly half of the cities which make up the Downriver area of Metro Detroit, as well as other cities in Wayne County. He is the first Korean American to hold state office in Michigan. 	Jeff Hopgood Jeff Hopgood (14 January 1948 – 8 November 2006) was an Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Hopgood spent six season at North Melbourne without ever managing to cement his spot, although he did manage 16 games in 1972. After leaving North Melbourne, Hopgood played at Coburg and was a ruckman in their 1974 VFA premiership side. He later became influential in the Cairns sporting scene, serving as the president of AFL Cairns and the inaugural chairman of the Cairns Taipans basketball team, of which he was a co-founder. Biography Hopgood started his career in British comics getting work at '' 2000 AD'' and Marvel UK from the mid-1980s onwards on titles like ''Tharg's Future Shocks'', '' Spider-Man and Zoids'', and ''Action Force''.
