Hope Rogers
Hope Rogers (born January 7, 1993) is an American rugby union player who plays for Exeter Chiefs in the Allianz Premier 15s. She has competed for the Eagles in three consecutive Rugby World Cup's, at the 2014, 2017 and the delayed 2021 tournament. Early career Rogers began playing rugby as a sophomore in 2009 at Chambersburg Area Senior High School. In her first year of rugby she made the Mid-Atlantic All Star-Team that went to the U19 National All-Star Championship tournament. She led them to a championship title the next year as captain. In 2011 she received the Kevin Higgins College Scholarships. International career Rogers debuted for the against France in June 2013. She was selected for the squad to the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland. She made her rugby sevens debut at the 2017 Sydney Women's Sevens. Rogers signed for Exeter Chiefs in January 2022. Saracens Women
Saracens Women ( /ˈsærəsənz/) are a women's rugby union club based in Hendon, London, England. They were founded in 1989 and currently play in the Premier 15s, the top level competition of women's rugby in the country. Saracens are the most successful team in the history of the Premier 15s, having won the league a record three times – in 2017–18, 2018–19 and 2021–22. 2023 Pacific Four Series
The 2023 Pacific Four Series was the third edition of the Pacific Four Series, an international women's rugby union tournament that served as one of the principal qualification routes for the top two tiers of WXV. The tournament was hosted by Spain, Australia and Canada. The series took place over three months. The first round saw Canada and the United States play the opening match in Madrid on 1 April 2023, followed by Australia hosting New Zealand on 29 June 2023 in Brisbane. The series concluded in Canada with all four teams competing over two weekends in early July for the title. The Spain women's national rugby union team played their first match on 2 May 1989, against France, losing 0-28. The team played the Women's Six Nations from 2000 to 2006, but they were replaced by Italy for 2007, in order to mirror the men's tournament. History Currently there are over 200 clubs in Spain and a league similar to that of male rugby. The first steps were taken in 1913, when women played in secret in schools, but rugby first began to be played seriously at training camps at the School of Architecture of Madrid in the early 70s by a group of architecture students.
