Hoopers is an English department store chain founded in Torquay in 1982. It is now trading from four department stores and online. The Hoopers
THE HOOPERS (ザ・フーパーズ) are a Japanese pop group. They assume a tomboy style, inspired by the Takarazuka Revue. The group is under Universal Music Japan. Twelve out of five thousand participants were chosen through Fudanjuku's 'Next Generation Audition'. Seven of the chosen participants went on to form The Hoopers, and the remaining five formed AXELL. The Hoopers debuted on March 4, 2015, with 'Loving You' (イトシコイシ君恋シ)(Itoshi koishi kimi koishi). Their eighth member Cecil (who is also an Axell member) was introduced on their single 'Passionate Love' as a permanent member. Later in 2015 they held the Ikemen Audition, where they selected 6 people to become members of Little Hoop (they are described as apprentice members for The Hoopers). Lee of AXELL and Noa of little HOOP joined the group as new members on June 25, 2017, and on July 28, 2017, They released their new single 'Shamrock'. Rivers Hoopers
Rivers Hoopers is a Nigerian basketball team based in Port Harcourt, Rivers. The team plays in the Nigerian Premier League. Established in 2009 as Royal Hoopers, the team has played in the Premier League since its inception. Hoopers have won the national championship four times, with titles in 2011, 2012, 2019 and 2021. History The club was established in 2009 as Royal Hoopers, with Ogoh Odaudu at the reins as head coach. The team won its first NPL championship in 2011. In December 2018, Hoopers played in the FIBA Africa Zone 3 Championship and won all five games to emerge as its Champions and went on to play in the 2019 Africa Basketball League in March. On 17 November 2019, the Hoopers won its third Nigerian title when it beat Raptors in the final. Hooping
Hooping (also called hula hooping or hoop dance) is the manipulation of and artistic movement or dancing with a hoop (or hoops). Hoops can be made of metal, wood, or plastic. Hooping combines technical moves and tricks with freestyle or technical dancing. Hooping can be practiced to or performed with music. In contrast to the classic toy hula hoop, modern hoopers use heavier and larger diameter hoops, and frequently rotate the hoop around parts of the body other than the waist, including the hips, chest, neck, shoulders, thighs, knees, arms, hands, thumbs, feet, and toes. The hoop can also be manipulated and rotated off the body as well. Modern hooping has been influenced by art forms such as rhythmic gymnastics, hip-hop, freestyle dance, fire performance, twirling, poi, and other dance and movement forms.
