Honington is an English village and Civil parishes in England, civil parish in the South Kesteven Non-metropolitan district, district of Lincolnshire. It lies just north of the junction between the A153 road, A153 and A607 road, A607 roads, about north of Grantham and west of Sleaford. History To the east of Honington are Earthwork (archaeology), earthwork remains of an Iron Age fort, measuring with defensive banks and ditches. Honington is a village and civil parish located in Bardwell Ward and Pakenham and Troston Wards of West Suffolk District Council, Suffolk in eastern England It is near to the border with Norfolk. It lies on the River Black Bourn, about 8 miles (13 km) from Bury St Edmunds and 6 miles (10 km) from Thetford, Norfolk. Much of the farmland belongs to the estate of the Duke of Grafton. The village is known for its RAF station, RAF Honington. It is also near two joint RAF/USAF airfields: RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall. Honington was the birthplace of the poet Robert Bloomfield. Honington, Warwickshire
Honington, Warwickshire is a hamlet and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon District of Warwickshire, England. It is in the Brailes division of the hundred of Kington, and approximately two miles north of Shipston-on-Stour. The population taken at the 2011 census was 250. The River Stour flows past the village on the western side and has a 5-arched 17th-century bridge crossing it. Honington contains approximately 60 houses within the parish boundary, including the half-timbered Magpie Cottage, and Shoemaker's Cottage situated on the Green opposite the gates and lodge entrance to Honington Hall which was built in 1682 by Sir Henry Parker.
