Hongerige Wolf
Hongerige Wolf (; Hungry Wolf) is a Hamlet (place), hamlet with a population of 30 in the municipality of Oldambt (municipality), Oldambt in the Netherlands. Overview The origin of the name is unclear. It first appeared in a 1877 newspaper as "''zoogedaamde Hongerige Wolf''" (so-called Hungry Wolf). It is probably related to an inn in the hamlet with the same name. Nevertheless, the name stuck and the hamlet is nowadays known as Hongerige Wolf. It ceased to be a statistical designation, therefore, the latest population update is from 1997. From 1991 onwards, Hongerige Wolf received national attention when Hannelore Klinkhamer disappeared. Her husband Richard Klinkhamer was prime suspect, however no evidence or body could be found. He moved in 1997, and in 2000, his wife's remains were discovered below the concrete floor of the garden shed. Klinkhamer was sentenced to seven years for manslaughter. Oldambt () is a municipality with a population of in the province of Groningen in the Netherlands. It was established in 2010 by merging the municipalities of Reiderland, Scheemda, and Winschoten. Postal codes in the Netherlands, known as ''postcodes'', are alphanumeric, consisting of four digits followed by two uppercase letters. Richard Klinkhamer
Richard Klinkhamer (; 15 March 1937 – January 2016) was a Dutch murderer, who went on to write a book about how he could have committed the crime. Murder conviction In 1991 Klinkhamer's wife, Hannelore (née Godfrinon), went missing from their home in Hongerige Wolf. The manuscript in question was rejected by his publisher, Willem Donker, as being "too gruesome". Klinkhamer became the primary suspect in the police investigation for the disappearance of Hannelore: he was questioned several times and detained once.
