Hong Kong At The 2012 Summer Olympics
Hong Kong competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This was the territory's fifteenth appearance at the Olympics, having not attended the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow because of its support for the United States boycott. The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China sent a total of 42 athletes to the Games, 22 men and 20 women, to compete in 13 sports. This was also the youngest delegation in Hong Kong's Olympic history, with about half the team under the age of 25, and many of them were expected to reach their peak in time for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Eight Hong Kong athletes had competed in Beijing, including track and road cyclist Wong Kam Po, who competed at his fifth Olympic games as the oldest and most experienced athlete, at age 39. The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (Traditional Chinese: 中國香港體育協會暨奧林匹克委員會; in short SF&OC, 港協暨奧委會) is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Hong Kong. As such it is a separate member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It is also a member of the Olympic Council of Asia. The current president is Timothy Fok. Chen Long
Chen Long (; ; born 18 January 1989), is a Chinese former professional badminton player. He is the 2016 Olympic champion, two-time World champion, and an Asian champion. Chen was a former World number 1, occupying the top men's singles ranking for 76 consecutive weeks from December 2014 to June 2016. Brice Leverdez
Brice Leverdez (born 9 April 1986) is a French badminton player. He was a champion at the 2013 Mediterranean Games, won a silver medal at the 2015 European Games, and a bronze medal at the 2018 European Championships. Career Leverdez started playing badminton at aged 12, and continued after that at the club, then in 2008, he joined France national badminton team. Edwin Ekiring (born 22 December 1986) is a Ugandan badminton player, nicknamed "The Black Pearl". He is tall and weighs .
