Honda RS250R
The Honda RS250R was a race motorcycle manufactured by Honda to race in the 250cc class of the Grand Prix motorcycle World Championship. It was conceived as a ''production racer'' for customer teams and privateer riders, while factory-supported teams raced the works bikes RS250RW and NSR250. The RS250R debuted in 1984 as a development prototype, racing in the domestic All Japan Road Race Championship and entering some rounds in the World Championship. It was put on sale for customer teams for the season onwards. The Honda RS250R featured a V-twin 250 cc two-stroke engine with a V-angle of 90 degrees. A new 75 degrees V-twin was introduced in 1993. Between 1984 and 2009 the RS250R has been produced in four different generations, named: ND5 (1984), NF5 (1987), NX5 (1993) and NXA (2001). A two-stroke (or two-stroke cycle) engine is a type of internal combustion engine that completes a power cycle with two strokes (up and down movements) of the piston during one power cycle, this power cycle being completed in one revolution of the crankshaft. A four-stroke engine requires four strokes of the piston to complete a power cycle during two crankshaft revolutions. In a two-stroke engine, the end of the combustion stroke and the beginning of the compression stroke happen simultaneously, with the intake and exhaust (or scavenging) functions occurring at the same time. A V-twin engine, also called a V2 engine, is a two-cylinder piston engine where the cylinders share a common crankshaft and are arranged in a V configuration. Although widely associated with motorcycles (installed either transversely or longitudinally), V-twin engines have also been used for industrial engines and in several small cars. Honda NSR250
The Honda NSR250 and Honda RS250RW were race motorcycles manufactured by Honda Racing Corporation to race in the 250cc class of the Grand Prix motorcycle World Championship. Both names identified the factory specification bikes entrusted to works teams, while customer teams used the ''production racer'' Honda RS250R. The first bike debuted in as Honda RS250RW, then from to the factory bikes were named NSR250. In the RS250RW name was resurrected until the demise of the 250 cc class. Suzuki RGV250
The Suzuki RGV250 was a Suzuki high performance sport bike which had a great number of its features and design cues based on Grand Prix technologies and ideas. It is a race-replica based on Suzuki's GP bikes from 1987 to 1998, the RGV V-2 racer. This motorcycle replaced the RG250 Gamma, which employed an alloy frame with a two-stroke parallel twin engine. The bike produced over 60 bhp in a narrow power band between 8,000 and 11,000 rpm. The dry weight ranged between (1989) to (later models) dry weight. The top speed of a standard RGV250 is around . Kawasaki KR250
The Kawasaki KR250 was a racing motorcycle built by Kawasaki from 1975 to 1982 for the ''250 cc'' class of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. It was powered by a two-stroke " tandem twin" engine The motorcycle won four world championships, in 1978 and 1979 with Kork Ballington and in 1980 and 1981 with Anton Mang.
