Homi Adajania
Homi Adajania (born 1972) is an Indian film director and writer. He made his directorial debut with ''Being Cyrus'' (2006), an English-language psychological drama. He followed this with the commercially successful Hindi-language romantic comedy '' Cocktail'' (2012). After this Adajania directed the satire '' Finding Fanny''. Career Adajania entered the film industry directing and co-writing the English-language psychological drama ''Being Cyrus'' (2006) starring Saif Ali Khan, Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, and Boman Irani. The film earned critical acclaim, despite being commercially unsuccessful. Film critic Rajeev Masand called it "a stylish thriller that's told in an immensely engaging style." Homi Motivala
Homi Dady Motivala (born 18 June 1958) is an Indian sportsperson in Yachting. He received the Arjuna award for best performance in yachting for the year 1993, the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award jointly with P. K. Garg for ''overall'' best performance in sports for the year 1994–95 and the Dronacharya Award for "Coaching excellence in Yachting" for the year 2002. Together with Garg, he won the bronze medal in the enterprise class at the 1990 and 1994 Asian Games held at Beijing and Hiroshima respectively. They were also the world champions in the same class in 1993. Motivala holds the rank of Commander with the Indian Navy. Homi Wadia
Homi Wadia (22 May 1911 – 10 December 2004) was an Indian film director and producer in Bollywood (Hindi cinema). He was the co-founder of Wadia Movietone productions, established in 1933 and later after the closure of Wadiatone, he founded Basant Pictures in 1942. In a career spanning five decades, he directed over 40 films, including ''Hunterwali'' (1935), ''Miss Frontier Mail'' (1936), '' Diamond Queen'' (1940), Shri Ram Bhakta Hanuman(1948) and fantasy film ''Hatim Tai'' (1956). He was also a founding member of the Film & Television Producers Guild of India, established in 1954. Homi Wadia was married to actress and stunt woman Fearless Nadia. Homi Nusserwanji Sethna (24 August 1923 – 5 September 2010) was an Indian nuclear scientist and a chemical engineer, gaining international fame as the Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission (India) during the time when the first nuclear test, codename ''Smiling Buddha'' in Pokhran Test Range in 1974 was conducted. He was the primary and central figure in India's civilian nuclear program as well as the construction of nuclear power plants. In 1991, he was appointed as Sheriff of Mumbai. He was awarded the second highest civilian award the Padma Vibhushan in 1975, by Government of India. Sir Hormasji Pherozeshah Mody KBE (23 September 1881 – 9 March 1969), generally known as Sir Homi Mody was a noted Parsi businessman associated with Tata Group and an administrator of India. He started his career as a lawyer at Bombay and in 1913 became chairman of Bombay Municipal Corporation. In 1920 he joined business and became member of Textile Mill owners' Association of which he became chairman in 1927. His signing of Lees-Mody pact as its chairman was subject of debate in Indian nationalist circle. He joined Tata Group as director in 1939 and served the group till 1959. Homi Framjee Billimoria OBE, (23 May 1901 - June 1956) was a Ceylonese architect of Parsee origin. He was the first Ceylonese to graduate from Liverpool University and be elected a fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects. Homi Framjee Billimoria was born on 23 May 1901 in Colombo, Ceylon, the second of three children and the oldest son of Framjee and Dinbai Billimoria (1877-1945). Billimoria married Munnie Karanjia (1912-?). In 1938 Billimoria joined the Government service as the country's first town planner. He served as the chief architect of the Public Works Department from 1953 to 1956. Homi F. Mobed (1928 or 1929 – 14 April 2015) was a Pakistani cricketer who played seven matches of first-class cricket for Karachi teams between December 1956 and October 1957. Mobed was an all-rounder: a right-handed batsman and leg-spin bowler. His most successful match was a semi-final of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in 1956-57, when he batted at number nine for Karachi Whites against Karachi Blues and made 96 in a team total of 762, and also took three wickets, helping Karachi Whites to an innings victory. Homi Master
Homi Master (?–1949) was an actor-director of early Indian cinema. His work extended from the silent era to the talkie era and up to his death. He produced his best films for Kohinoor Film Company and he has been referred to as "silent cinema's most successful film-maker". Master acted in the then-controversial film '' Bhakta Vidur'' (1921), ''Kala Naag'' and ''Kulin Kanta''. Some of his important films were ''Bismi Sadi'', ''Manorama'', ''Do Ghadi Ki Mauj'' (1935), ''Samaj Ki Bhool'' (1934) and ''Gul Sanobar'' (1934). He was active from 1921 to 1949 and made over seventy-eight films. His later films in Gujarati and Hindi were termed as B movies. He died in 1949.
