''Home Page'' was a technology television that aired show on CablePulse 24, hosted by David Onley and later others. Original host David Onley left the program, after being appointed Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. He was replaced by Amber MacArthur on departure, and soon after Jee-Yun Lee took over, when MacArthur resigned. Jee-Yun Lee once again resigned from ''Home Page'' in 2009 and was replaced by Omar Sachedina. CTV announced that ''Home Page'' would end with its last broadcast on October 7, 2009, and therefore being replaced by new show, ''Webnation ''Webnation'' is a television show about technology that is aired on CP24 in Toronto, Canada. It features technology news, viral videos, reviews and trends. CP24 is a Canadian English-language specialty news channel owned by Bell Media, a subsidiary of BCE Inc. and operated alongside the Bell-owned CTV Television Network's owned-and-operated television stations CFTO-DT (CTV Toronto) and CKVR-DT (CTV 2 Barrie). The channel broadcasts from 299 Queen Street West in Downtown Toronto. It was first originally launched on March 30, 1998, under the name CablePulse24 by its owners CHUM Limited and Sun Media. The channel was named as an extension of CITY-TV (Citytv Toronto)'s newscasts, which were then known as ''CityPulse''. CHUM acquired Sun Media's interest in 2004 after acquiring the assets of Craig Media. In 2006, Bell Globemedia acquired CP24 and its parent CHUM Limited, but regulatory limits in media ownership forced CHUM to sell off the Citytv stations to avoid conflicts with CTV stations in the same markets. David Charles Onley (born June 12, 1950) is a former Canadian journalist who served as the 28th Lieutenant Governor of OntarioDavid Onley Appointed Next Lt.-Gov. Omar Sachedina (born August 21, 1982) is a Canadian television journalist and anchor for Bell Media. He is the chief news anchor and senior editor for CTV's national evening newscast ''CTV National News'' since September 5, 2022. Previously, Sachedina was the National Affairs Correspondent for CTV News. Early life Sachedina was born and raised in Vancouver to Ismaili Muslim parents who immigrated to Canada as Indians from Uganda. His great-grandparents had emigrated to Africa from India in the late 1800s. He speaks Gujarati, Kutchi, French, and English.
