Her Space Holiday
Her Space Holiday is the recording moniker of indietronic and indie rock artist Marc Bianchi. History Marc Bianchi began as a musician in the California hardcore scene. He was a part of Indian Summer and Mohinder before assuming the moniker "Her Space Holiday" in 1996. Initially, Bianchi was not interested in releasing Her Space Holiday's first works, as he was focused on launching the bands associated with his new (now defunct) record label Audio Information Phenomena. However, after being approached by Chocolate River Industries to record a 12-inch EP, Her Space Holiday became Bianchi's full-time project. Since the release of Her Space Holiday's first EP, the band has released six full-length albums, several singles and EPs, and a remix album. He has toured with Bright Eyes, The Faint, Pinback, Bob Mould, The American Analog Set, Lymbyc Systym and others. Duster (band)
Duster is an American rock band consisting of multi-instrumentalists Clay Parton, Canaan Dove Amber, and Jason Albertini from San Jose, California. History Formed in 1996 with only Parton and Amber who had previously worked together in bands Mohinder and Calm, they released 2 cassettes in the same year titled On the Dodge and Christmas Dust, respectively, as well as a 7" titled ''Transmission, Flux'' on Up Records released in 1997. Later the next year, Jason Albertini joined the band as a drummer and played on three tracks for their debut album, 1998's ''Stratosphere'', and with 1999's ''1975'' EP, Albertini became much more involved in the group's process, playing many more instruments and sharing recording/producing credits with Parton and Amber. Mahogany are an electric music-based multidisciplinary media ensemble formed in Michigan in 1995 and currently working in Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, and other locations. Bright Eyes is an American indie rock band founded by singer-songwriter and guitarist Conor Oberst. It consists of Oberst, multi-instrumentalist and producer Mike Mogis, arranger, composer and trumpet and piano player Nate Walcott, and a rotating line-up of collaborators drawn primarily from Omaha's indie music scene. Aspera Ad Astra
Aspera (initially Aspera Ad Astra) were an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. History Aspera formed in 1996 under the name Aspera ad Astra in Philadelphia, and released a 7" split with Haelah before issuing their debut full-length in 1998. Following this the group underwent lineup changes before the release of their 1999 EP; several drummers would join and leave the group until late 2000, when A.J. Edmiston joined. Around this time the group shortened its name.
