"Home Alone" is a single by American musician R. Kelly, released from his third solo studio album, '' R.'' The song features rapper Keith Murray and uncredited vocals from Kelly Price. It was also produced by G-One & DJ Quik. "Home Alone" was the fifth single from the album and charted at number 65 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Its chart success was better abroad, reaching the top 40 in Canada, France and the United Kingdom. In Canada it topped the ''RPM'' Dance Chart. Keith Murray (rapper)
Keith Omar Murray (born May 29, 1974) is an American rapper from New York. Murray grew up on Carleton Ave, in Central Islip, which is located on the South Shore of Long Island in Suffolk County. Murray was a known member of a local rap collective in Long Island called Legion of Doom (L.O.D.) which included fellow rappers 50 Grand, Ron Jay, and Kel-Vicious. Murray is more famously known for being a member of the Hip Hop trio the Def Squad, which includes fellow rappers Redman and fellow Long Island native Erick Sermon, previously the co-founder of the legendary Hip-Hop group EPMD (from neighboring town Brentwood). Murray debuted his spaced out, complex, multi-syllable rhyming style on Erick Sermon's ruggedly produced song 'Hostile' off his first solo album 'No Pressure' which was released in 1993, and was Sermon's first project since splitting with former rhyming partner Parrish Smith. The Canadian dance chart was first known to be published on November 13, 1976 by ''RPM'' magazine under the name ''Top 30 Disco Playlist''. The song which held the number-one spot on this first chart was "Keep It Comin' Love / I'm Your Boogie Man" by KC and the Sunshine Band. No chart was published from January 1980 until September 3, 1988. The final archived chart was under the name ''Top 30 Dance'' and was published on October 16, 2000, three weeks before the magazine ceased publication. Keith Omar Murray (born September 13, 1974) is an American rapper from New York. He is best known for being a member of the hip hop group Def Squad, which includes fellow rappers Redman and fellow Long Island native Erick Sermon. The group released their debut album, ''El Niño'' in 1998.
