Holy Family Roman Catholic Church (Parkdale, Toronto)
Holy Family is a Roman Catholic church in Toronto's west end neighbourhood of Parkdale and within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto. It has been served since 1979 by clergy of the Oratory of St Philip Neri who also run a seminary from the location. Holy Family is a private, independent traditionalist Catholic chapel located behind a guarded gate at 30188 W. Mulholland Highway, Agoura Hills, California, United States. It is not affiliated with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Its 70 or so members are traditional Catholics, including some that hold a sedevacantism position. They reject many or all of the reforms introduced by the Second Vatican Council and worship according to earlier Roman Catholic rites including the Tridentine Mass. The Rev. Holy Family Church was built in 1883 at 1715 Izard Street, at the intersections of 18th and Izard Streets in North Omaha, Nebraska within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha. It is the oldest existing Catholic Church in Omaha, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. History Holy Family Church was built in 1883 for Irish railroad workers and their families. It was designed by Omaha architects Charles and August Cleves in Gothic Revival and Romanesque Revival Style. The complex includes a parish church, school and rectory.
