Holocacista Capensis
''Holocacista capensis'' is a moth of the family Heliozelidae. It was described by van Nieukerken and Geertsema in 2015. It is found in South Africa (Western Cape, Northern Cape and Gauteng). The wingspan is 3.9–4.9 mm for males and 4–4.6 mm for females. The forewings of the males are grey brown, slightly irrorate, caused by scales being dark tipped and paler at the base. There is a silver-white pattern on the forewings, consisting of a triangular dorsal spot at one-fourth, usually associated with a minor spot of just a few scales at the costa, that may be joined to the dorsal spot, or even completely absent. There is a second triangular dorsal spot at 1/2, reaching almost to the middle of the wing and a triangular costal spot just beyond the middle, always separate. The females have the scales almost uniformly dark fuscous with a purplish tinge, resulting in darker, velvety wing colour and contrasting silvery-white pattern. The first costal and dorsal spots are join ...

Holocacista Varii
''Holocacista varii'' is a moth of the family Heliozelidae. It was described by Wolfram Mey in 2011. It is found in South Africa (Western Cape, Eastern Cape). The wingspan is 5–5.7 mm for males and 4.5–5.6 mm for females. The forewings are grey brown with some bronze lustre and with a silver-white patterning, an oblique fascia at one-fourth, hardly narrower at the costa. There is a slightly triangular dorsal spot at one-half, not reaching the middle of the wing. There is a triangular or squarish costal spot just beyond the middle. The hindwings are pale grey. There are probably multiple overlapping generations per year. The larvae feed on ''Pelargonium cucullatum'', '' Pelargonium panduriforme'', '' Pelargonium hispidum'' and '' Pelargonium citronellum''. The larvae mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine starts towards a vein and then follows the vein as a narrow gallery, eventually rather suddenly enlarging into a more or less triangular or elongate blotch, u ...

Holocacista Salutans
''Holocacista salutans'' is a moth of the family Heliozelidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1921. It is found in Zimbabwe and the South African provinces of KwaZulu-Natal and Limpopo. The wingspan is 4–5 mm for males and about 4.5 mm for females. The forewings of the males are grey brown, slightly irrorate (sprinkled), caused by the scales being dark tipped and paler at the base. There is a silver-white pattern on the forewings, consisting of a triangular dorsal spot at one-fourth from the base, a smaller spot at the costa, sometimes joined to the dorsal spot as a narrow fascia. There is a second triangular dorsal spot at one-half, reaching almost to the middle of the wing and a triangular costal spot just beyond the middle, always separate. The hindwings are pale grey. Females have the scales almost uniformly dark fuscous with a purplish tinge, resulting in darker, velvety wing colour and contrasting silvery-white pattern. The first costal and dorsal spots are ...

Heliozelidae
A family of primitive monotrysian moths in the order Lepidoptera, Heliozelidae are small, metallic day-flying moths with shiny smooth heads. In Europe the small adult moths (genera ''Antispila'' and ''Heliozela'') are seldom noticed as they fly quite early in the spring. The larvae are leaf miners and the vacated leaf mines are distinctive because the larva leaves a large hole at the end. The family is worldwide but the recently discovered genus ''Plesiozela'' from southern South America (which has five segments in the labial palps) may represent the sister group In phylogenetics, a sister group or sister taxon, also called an adelphotaxon, comprises the closest relative(s) of another given unit in an evolutionary tree. Genus
Genus ( plural genera ) is a taxonomic rank used in the biological classification of extant taxon, living and fossil organisms as well as Virus classification#ICTV classification, viruses. In the hierarchy of biological classification, genus comes above species and below family (taxonomy), family. In binomial nomenclature, the genus name forms the first part of the binomial species name for each species within the genus. :E.g. ''Panthera leo'' (lion) and ''Panthera onca'' (jaguar) are two species within the genus ''Panthera''. ''Panthera'' is a genus within the family Felidae. The composition of a genus is determined by taxonomy (biology), taxonomists. The standards for genus classification are not strictly codified, so different authorities often produce different classifications for genera. There are some general practices used, however, including the idea that a newly defined genus should fulfill these three criteria to be descriptively useful: # monophyly – all descendants ...
