Field Holler
The field holler or field call is mostly a historical type of vocal work song sung by field slaves in the United States (and later by African American forced laborers accused of violating vagrancy laws) to accompany their tasked work, to communicate usefully, or to vent feelings. It differs from the collective work song in that it was sung solo, though early observers noted that a holler, or ‘cry’, might be echoed by other workers. Though commonly associated with cotton cultivation, the field holler was also sung by levee workers, and field hands in rice and sugar plantations. Goofy Holler
Goofy is a cartoon character created by The Walt Disney Company. He is a tall, Anthropomorphism, anthropomorphic dog who typically wears a turtle neck and vest, with pants, shoes, white gloves, and a tall hat originally designed as a rumpled fedora. Goofy is a close friend of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, and Max Goof's father. He is normally characterized as hopelessly Accident-proneness, clumsy and Stupidity, dim-witted, yet this interpretation is not always definitive; occasionally, Goofy is shown as intuitive and clever, albeit in his own unique, eccentric way. Goofy debuted in animated cartoons, starting in 1932 with ''Mickey's Revue'' as Dippy Dawg, who is older than Goofy would come to be. Later the same year, he was re-imagined as a younger character, now called Goofy, in the short ''The Whoopee Party''. During the 1930s, he was used extensively as part of a comedy trio with Mickey Mouse, Mickey and Donald. Starting in 1939, Goofy was given his own series of shorts that ...

Holler (album)
''Holler'' is a studio album by American folk rock singer-songwriter Amy Ray, released on Daemon Records in 2018. The music on this album continues Ray's exploration of Americana music and Appalachian culture and has received positive reviews from critics. Reception Editors at AllMusic Guide chose ''Holler'' as among the Best of 2018, rating this album 4.5 out of five stars, with critic Timothy Monger praising her exploration of country music and opining that "Ray's powerful voice delivers personal ruminations, affirmations, history lessons, and the fiery politicized missives and cultural reflections that come from a lifetime of activism". Stuart Henderson of ''Exclaim!'' gave ''Holler'' an eight out of 10, calling Ray "a remarkably wise and generous songwriter" who is "backed by a versatile band". Track listing All songs written by Amy Ray, except where noted #"Gracie’s Dawn (Prelude)" (Brian Speiser) â€“ 0:42 #"Sure Feels Good Anyway" â€“ 4:30 #"Dadgum Down"&nbs ...
