Holger Blume
Holger Blume (born 28 December 1973 in Lüdinghausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany) is a former German sprinter who specialised in the 100 metres. He is the twin brother of Marc Blume. Both represented the sports club TV Wattenscheid. Holger Blume finished seventh in 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1998 IAAF World Cup, with teammates Patrick Schneider, Manuel Milde and Marc Blume. With a personal best of 10.13 seconds, Blume is fifth on the German all-time list. Lüdinghausen ( Westphalian: ''Lünkhusen'' or ''Lünksel'') is a town in district of Coesfeld in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the Dortmund-Ems Canal, approx. 25 km south-west of Münster. 2002 IAAF World Cup
The 9th IAAF World Cup in Athletics was an international track and field sporting event sponsored by the International Association of Athletics Federations. It was hosted by Madrid, September 21–22, 2002, in the Estadio La Peineta. The IAAF world cup event is currently held every four years. The team winner of the men's competition was Africa, while the Russian team took the women's cup. Overall results Men 1 Great Britain originally finished eighth, but were disqualified in August 2003 after Dwain Chambers admitted to using THG between the beginning of 2002 and August 2003. All other individual results were allowed to stand, but the IAAF ruled these athletes received no score.
