Brooke Elizabeth White (born June 2, 1983) is an American folk-pop singer-songwriter and actress from Mesa, Arizona who was the fifth place finalist on the seventh season of ''American Idol''. The song originated as a Bruce Springsteen-inspired song called "Radio Soul" that Costello had written in 1974.
