The Locarno Film Festival is an annual film festival, held every August in Locarno, Switzerland. Founded in 1946, the festival screens films in various competitive and non-competitive sections, including feature-length narrative, documentary, short, avant-garde, and retrospective programs. Klaus Händl (born September 17, 1969) is an Austrian actor, writer and director. Biography Händl was born in Rum, Tyrol, Austria. He started his theater career as an actor in Vienna's Schauspielhaus. His first theatrical production, which he also directed, was premiered in the Styrian autumn festival ''Steirischer Herbst'' at Graz. He has also appeared in several films. ''Komm, süßer Tod'' (Come Sweet Death) is a 2000 Austrian darkly humorous crime film based on the novel by Wolf Haas of the same name.
