Hoheluft2
is an area composed of two quarters of Hamburg, which are characterized by their largely preserved architecture. Administratively, Hoheluft is divided into two quarters: in the borough of Hamburg-Nord, and in the borough of Eimsbüttel. The Hoheluftchaussee is the boundary between the two quarters. With about 22,673 inhabitants per square kilometer (as of 2016), Hoheluft is one of the most densely populated quarters in all of Germany. Geography The Isebekkanal is the southeast border of Hoheluft. Behind it lies the quarter of Harvestehude. Hamburg-Nord (meaning ''Hamburg North'') is one of the seven boroughs of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, in northern Germany. In 2020, according to the residents registration office, the population was 315,514 in an area of 57.5 km2. Geography Starting from the north and continuing on clockwise, Hamburg-Nord borders on the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the Hamburg boroughs of Wandsbek, Mitte, and Altona. The borough is divided into 13 localities, namely Alsterdorf, Barmbek-Nord, Barmbek-Süd, Dulsberg, Eppendorf, Fuhlsbüttel, Groß Borstel, Hoheluft-Ost, Hohenfelde, Langenhorn, Ohlsdorf, Uhlenhorst, and Winterhude. 2004 Hamburg State Election
The 2004 Hamburg state election was held on 29 February 2004 to elect the members of the 18th Hamburg Parliament. The election was triggered by the collapse of the coalition government between the Christian Democratic Union of Germany, Christian Democratic Union (CDU), Party for a Rule of Law Offensive (PRO), and Free Democratic Party (Germany), Free Democratic Party (FDP). The election saw a collapse in support for PRO which had split after its leader Ronald Schill left in 2003. The original party and Schill's new party captured 3.5% of the vote between them, down from 19.4% in 2001.
