Hog Island (Rhode Island)
Hog Island is an American island in Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. It lies at the entrance to the harbor of Bristol and is part of the town of Portsmouth. The tall Hog Island Shoal Lighthouse Hog Island Shoal Light, built in 1901, is a sparkplug lighthouse on a shoal off of Hog Island, Rhode Island. It is located about southeast of the island, at the entrance to Mount Hope Bay.
