Hoby Milner
Hoby Trey Milner (born January 13, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays, and Los Angeles Angels. Career Milner attended R. L. Paschal High School in Fort Worth, Texas and was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 44th round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. He did not sign and attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he played college baseball. Philadelphia Phillies After his junior year he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the seventh round of the 2012 MLB draft. He made his professional debut in 2012 with the Low-A Williamsport Crosscutters, and also played for the Single-A Lakewood BlueClaws, accumulating a 7-3 record and 2.50 ERA between the two teams. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. In the numbering system used to record defensive plays, the pitcher is assigned the number 1. The 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft was held from June 4 through June 6, 2012, from Studio 42 of the MLB Network in Secaucus, New Jersey. Spring Training
Spring training is the preseason in Major League Baseball (MLB), a series of practices and exhibition games preceding the start of the regular season. Spring training allows new players to try out for Schedule (workplace), roster and position spots, and gives established players practice time prior to competitive play. Spring training has always attracted fan attention, drawing crowds who travel to the warm climates of Arizona and Florida to enjoy the weather and watch their favorite teams play, and spring training usually coincides with spring break for many US students. Aaron Allan Slegers (born September 4, 1992) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played college baseball at Indiana University Bloomington for the Indiana Hoosiers and in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins, Tampa Bay Rays, and Los Angeles Angels. Career Slegers attended Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. He pitched for the school's baseball team, spending most of his junior year on the junior varsity team. Durham Bulls
The Durham Bulls are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. They are located in Durham, North Carolina, and play their home games at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, which opened in 1995. Established as the Durham Tobacconists in the North Carolina League in 1902, the team subsequently disbanded and restarted numerous times. After a 10-year hiatus, it was reestablished as the Durham Bulls and played in the North Carolina State League from 1913 to 1917. Lehigh Valley IronPigs
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League (IL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. They are located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and are named in reference to pig iron, used in the manufacturing of steel, for which the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania is well known. The Reading Fightin Phils (also called the Reading Fightins) are a Minor League Baseball team based in Reading, Pennsylvania, playing in the Northeast Division of the Eastern League.
