Hoang Anh Gia Lai Academy
Hoang Anh Gia Lai Academy ( vi, Trung tâm đào tạo bóng đá trẻ Hoàng Anh Gia Lai) is the youth section of V.League 1 side Hoàng Anh Lai Lai. Based in Pleiku, Gia Lai Province. The academy was a built as co-operation between Arsenal Football Club, JMG Academy and the Vietnamese privately owned Hoang Anh Gia Lai Corporation. History In 2007, V.League 1 club Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL} succeeded in signing an agreement with the English football club Arsenal and the French JMG Academy, founding the HAGL Academy – Arsenal JMG in Pleiku. Despite football is the number one sport in Vietnam, the country had few success in regional football tournaments, by with only one AFF Championship title in 2008, as Thailand was still the dominating team in the region. Vũ Văn Thanh (born 14 April 1996) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a right-back for V.League 1 club Công An Hà Nội and the Vietnam national team. Early career Vũ Văn Thanh was born in Thanh Miện district, Hải Dương province. He won the national under-11 football championship with Hải Dương under-11 team in 2007. Lê Minh Bình (born 25 December 1999) is a Vietnamese professional footballer who plays as a striker for V.League 2 club PVF-CAND, on loan from Hoàng Anh Gia Lai. Early career Born in Bình Phước, Minh Bình played for the youth team of his province before he was admitted to the HAGL – Arsenal JMG Academy in 2013. Lê Hoàng Thiên (born 25 December 1990) is a Vietnamese footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for V.League 1 club Bình Định. Personal life Hoàng Thiên was born in Phú Thiện. On 27 May 2014 he was married to Dương Thị Ngọc Nguyệt, a nurse at the local hospital.
