Ho Chih-chin
Ho Chih-chin (; 16 June 1952 – 8 November 2016) was a Taiwanese politician. He was the Minister of Finance from 2006 to 2008. Education and early career Ho obtained his doctoral degree in economics from University of Michigan in the United States. Upon graduation from the University of Michigan, Ho worked for the United States Department of the Treasury. In 2003, he returned to Taiwan to teach at National Taiwan University. Ministry of Finance After the resignation of incumbent Finance Minister Joseph Lyu was approved by Premier Su Tseng-chang on 29 June 2006, Ho was appointed to the ministerial post and assumed the position on 4 July. During his term in office, Ho reformed the consolidated income tax and estate and gift tax systems. After multiple resignation attempts, Ho himself left office in 2008, notifying Su's successor Chang Chun-hsiung of his intentions on 13 March. The National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH; ) is a medical facility located in the Zhongzheng District of Taipei, Taiwan. It started operations under Japanese rule in Daitōtei (today's Dadaocheng) on 18 June 1895, and moved to its present location in 1898. The hospital was later annexed to the Medical School of Taihoku Imperial University in 1937. The present name was adopted in 1945 upon its affiliation with National Taiwan University. Chang Chun-hsiung
Chang Chun-hsiung (), (born 23 March 1938) is a Taiwanese politician. He is a former Premier of the Republic of China. Chang was appointed to two separate terms as Premier, both under Chen Shui-bian. His appointment by then-President Chen in 2000 marked the first time a Democratic Progressive Party member occupied the premiership. As a founding member of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), he was a member of its Central Committee and Executive Member of its Central Standing Committee from 1986 to 2000.
