Lin Tzou-yien
Lin Tzou-yien (; born 28 October 1948) is a Taiwanese physician. He was the deputy Minister of Health and Welfare and served as acting Minister in October 2014 upon the resignation of Chiu Wen-ta. Upon the appointment of Chiang Been-huang, Lin returned to his previous post until he was promoted again to head the ministry as part of Lin Chuan's incoming cabinet, which took office on 20 May 2016. Lin was succeeded in office by Chen Shih-chung on 7 February 2017. Hsueh Jui-yuan () is a Taiwanese physician who has served as the vice minister of Ministry of Health and Welfare (Taiwan), Health and Welfare since August 2017 until July 18 2022. He currently serves as the Minister of Health and Welfare since July 2022. Education Hsueh completed his degree in medicine from Taipei Medical University in 1980. Kaohsiung Medical University
The Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU; ) is a private medical school located in Sanmin District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. History The university was originally established as Kaohsiung Medical College in 1954 by the former mayor of Kaohsiung City, Chen Chi-chuan, and Tu Tsung-ming, the first Ph.D. of Medical Sciences in Taiwan. At the time of its establishment, the college was the first private institution of its kind in southern Taiwan.
