Hla Myint Swe (minister)
Major General Hla Myint Swe ( my, လှမြင့်ဆွေ ) was Minister of Transport in Myanmar. Early career Hla Myint Swe fought against the Burma Communist Party in the 1970s. In 1991, as Brigadier-General, Hla Myint Swe was Commander of the LID-88 in Magwe. In July 1997 he was Chairman of Sagaing Division Law and Order Restoration Council and Commander of North West Command. In November 1997, the government named him as Ministry of Industry No.(2), with U Aung Thaung as Ministry of Industry No. (1). In this role, in June 1998 he inspected Mandalay Industrial Zone No.2 and gave instructions. Minister of Transport In March 1999, as Minister of Transport, Hla Myint Swe donated medical equipment worth K 350,000 and cash for the 500 No.2 Military Hospital beds on the occasion of the 54th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day. Mon State ( my, မွန်ပြည်နယ်, ; mnw, တွဵုရးဍုင်မန်, italics=no) is an administrative division of Myanmar. It lies between Kayin State to the east, the Andaman Sea to the west, Bago Region to the north and Tanintharyi Region to the south, also having a short border with Thailand's Kanchanaburi Province at its south-eastern tip. Thaton
Thaton (; mnw, သဓီု ) is a town in Mon State, in southern Myanmar on the Tenasserim plains. Thaton lies along the National Highway 8 and is also connected by the National Road 85. It is 230 km south east of Yangon and 70 km north of Mawlamyine. Thaton was the capital of Thaton Kingdom from at least the 4th century BC to the middle of the 11th century AD. Etymology Thaton is the Burmese name of Sadhuim (သဓီု) in Mon, which in turn is from Sudhammapura () in Pali, after Sudharma, the moot hall of the gods. Nazmul Huda
Nazmul Huda (born 6 January 1943) is a Bangladeshi barrister and politician. He served as the minister of information (1991–1996) and the minister of communications (2001–2006) of the government of Bangladesh. He was a 4-term Jatiya Sangsad member representing the Dhaka-1 constituency. He was a member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party since its inception until 2012 when he left the party as its vice chairman. The Thatbyinnyu Temple ( my, သဗ္ဗညု ဘုရား, ; pi, Sabbannu or "the Omniscient") is a Theravadin Buddhist temple in Bagan (Pagan), Myanmar. The temple is recognized as a monument in the Bagan Archeological Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
