Hizb Ut-Tahrir Britain
Hizb ut-Tahrir Britain (also known as HT Britain, HTB, HT in the UK, and HTUK Baran, ''Hizb ut-Tahrir: Islam's Political Insurgency'', 2004:17) is the official name of the United Kingdom branch of Hizb ut-Tahrir, a transnational, pan-Islamist and fundamentalist group that seeks to re-establish "the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate)" as an Islamic "superstate" where Muslim-majority countries are unified Ahmed & Stuart, ''Hizb Ut-Tahrir'', 2009: p.3 and ruled under Islamic Shariah law, and which eventually expands globally to include non-Muslim states such as Britain. Kufr
Kafir ( ar, كافر '; plural ', ' or '; feminine '; feminine plural ' or ') is an Arabic and Islamic term which, in the Islamic tradition, refers to a person who disbelieves in God as per Islam, or denies his authority, or rejects the tenets of Islam. The term is often translated as "infidel", "pagan", "rejector", " denier", "disbeliever", "unbeliever", "nonbeliever", and "non-Muslim". The term is used in different ways in the Quran, with the most fundamental sense being "ungrateful" (toward God). Abdul Qadeem Zallum
Abdul Qadeem Bin Yusuf Bin Yunis Bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh Zallum (1924 – 29 April 2003) was the global leader of the Islamist political party Hizb ut-Tahrir, an office he held from 1977 to 2003. Early life and education Zallum was born in 1924 in the city of Hebron (al-Khaleel) in Mandatory Palestine. By the age of 15, he acquired his elementary education from al-Ibrahemia school in city of al-Khaleel. He was appointed as a teacher in 1949 to the schools of Bethlehem for a period of two years. Zallum wrote a book titled ''How the Khilafah was Destroyed'', which explains in great detail the events that forced the fall of the Ummah of Muhammad. He recounts several instances that contributed to the historical event and his book offers lessons to prevent the same pitfalls from reoccurring. Ed Husain
Ed Husain (born 25 December 1974) is a British author and academic. He is also a adjunct Professor, professor in the Walsh School of Foreign Service in Georgetown University. As a political advisor he has worked with leaders and governments across the world. He has held senior fellowships at think tanks in London and New York, including at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) at the height of the Arab uprisings (2010–2015). While at CFR, his policy innovation memo led to the US-led creation of a Geneva-based global fund to help counter terrorism. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Studies in Conflict & Terrorism, a monthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering research on terrorism and insurgency. Husain was a senior advisor to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair (2015–2018).
