"Hits Different" is a song by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It is taken from the deluxe editions of her tenth studio album, ''Midnights''. Originally, "Hits Different" was included as an exclusive track to the CD-only ''Lavender Edition'' of ''Midnights'' on October 21, 2022. The track was released for download and streaming as part of the ''Til Dawn Edition'' on May 26, 2023. Written and produced by Swift, Jack Antonoff, and Aaron Dessner, its lyrics reflect on a past relationship and contain references to some of Swift's other songs. Mastering, a form of audio post production, is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device (the master), the source from which all copies will be produced (via methods such as pressing, duplication or replication). The Teenage Engineering OP-1 is a synthesizer, sampler and sequencer designed and manufactured by the Stockholm-based company Teenage Engineering. The OP-1 is Teenage Engineering's first product; it was released in 2011 following an introduction at the NAMM Show. It is also considered their core product. The OP-1 is well known for its unconventional design, AMOLED display, and the depth of its synthesis engines.
