Hithi Nimun
''Hithi Nimun'' is a 2001 Maldivian drama film directed by Ali Shameel. Produced by Aslam Rasheed under Slam Studio, the film stars Mohamed Shavin, Mariyam Nisha, Mohamed Afrah and Sheereen Abdul Wahid in pivotal roles. Premise Junaid Ahmed (Mohamed Shavin), Shakeel (Hassan Afeef) and Nazima (Mariyam Nisha) are school graduates. Ali Shameel
Ali Shameel is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career In 1986, Shameel took part in a stage-play titled CDS-6, alongside Kashima Shakir, Mohamed Rasheed and Chilhiya Moosa Manik which was appreciated among the audience and he continues to feature in several other stage dramas. In 1992, Shameel made his career debut in Ahmed Sharmeel and Ibrahim Waheed's family drama film ''Dhon Manma'' (1992) alongside Haajara Abdul Kareem, Ibrahim Shakir and Sharmeel. Mohamed Shavin is a Maldivian film actor. Career In 2000, he played the role of Fayaz, an ignorant husband who is deeply in love with a patient suffering from congenital heart disease in Abdul Faththaah's television drama series '' Dhoapatta''. Mariyam Nisha
Mariyam Nisha (born 19 May 1979) is a Maldivian former actress. Early life Nisha was born on 19 May 1979 in Dh. Rinbudhoo. She recalled her childhood days as a "disturbing chapter" of life where she had to refrain from enjoying with friends due to a skin problem. Mohamed Afrah Hassan, commonly known as Mohamed Afrah (17 January 1974 – 7 April 2019) was a Maldivian film actor and producer. Career Afrah was featured in the most successful Maldivian film of 2000, Ahmed Nimal's horror classic ''Zalzalaa'', where he played the traumatized son observing supernatural events in his family. Hassan Afeef is a Maldivian film actor. He is celebrated as the actor being featured in the first Maldivian film and song. He is also noted to be the actor to have worked with most directors away from home and acted in most films that were shot abroad. Career In late 1979, Hassan Afeef, a cinema-goer used to watch several Bollywood films screened at limited cinemas in Maldives and imitate their acting afterwards among friends and family. Chilhiya Moosa Manik
Moosa Manik commonly known as Chilhiya Moosa Manik (30 January 1940 – 24 August 2021) was a Maldivian film actor and writer. Early life In 1977, while studying at Majeediyya School, Manik participated in the theatre play performed to celebrate the Golden jubilee of Majeediyya School. He then joined several other theatre performances as a hobby though his first priority lies in sketching and drawing, followed by writing. Fazeela Amir (16 December 1969) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Fazeela Amir was born and raised in the "Amir family" where several artists including Ahmed Amir and Ibrahim Amir were brought up and "ruled" the music industry.
