FC Bayern Munich is a German sports club based in Munich, Bavaria. It is best known for its professional football team, which plays in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system, and is the most successful club in German football history, having won a record 30 national titles and 20 national cups. Karlsruher FV
Karlsruher FV is a German association football club that plays in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg. Established on 17 November 1891, KFV was a founding member of the German Football Association (Deutscher Fussball-Bund) in 1900 and is the oldest still existing football club in Southern Germany. The club was one of the leading German football clubs before the First World War. The team went on to capture the national championship in 1910 with a 1–0 victory over Holstein Kiel, but lost the final in 1905 and 1912. The KFV claimed the Southern German football championship from 1901 to 1905 and from 1910 to 1912. William Townley
William James Townley (14 February 1866 – 30 May 1950) was an English football player and coach. He scored the first hat-trick in the history of the FA Cup final, but his lasting legacy is defined as an important pioneer of the game in Germany, leading Karlsruher FV and SpVgg Fürth to three German championships as a coach. Playing career Townley's career as a player began with Blackburn Swifts F.C., where he played for one season. He than joined Blackburn Olympic for two seasons. His playing position at Swifts and Olympic was centre-forward. He joined Blackburn Rovers in 1886 and switched to the left winger spot. Townleys technique to deter defending full-backs was to throw his arms up in the air, thus startling his opponent; Townley swept past to make an attack. Kurt Landauer
Kurt Landauer (28 July 1884 – 21 December 1961) was a German football official. His profession often listed as ''Kaufmann'' ("merchant"), he was head of the advertising department of the major Munich daily newspaper ''Münchner Neueste Nachrichten'', considered precursor to '' Süddeutsche Zeitung'', which commenced publication after World War II. His claim to fame is his four tenures as the president of the football club FC Bayern Munich between 1913 and 1951. To date he remains the president with the longest time in office. Landauer was born in Planegg (close to Munich), and joined Bayern in 1901 as a player. He had to leave for Lausanne shortly afterwards, but returned to Munich in 1905. In 1913 he was elected president of the club for the first time but World War I ended his tenure in 1914. Spielvereinigung Greuther Fürth (), commonly known as Greuther Fürth (), is a German football club based in Fürth, Bavaria. They play in the 2.
