Historical Archive Of Leskovac
The Historical Archive of Leskovac ( sr-Cyrl, Историјски архив Лесковац) is the primary institution responsible for preservation of archival materials in the Jablanica District located in Leskovac, Serbia. The archive is primarily serving municipalities of Leskovac, Vlasotince, Crna Trava, Lebane, Bojnik and Medveđa. The archive was established in 1954 and its current name was introduced in 1959. Since 1973 the archive is located in the building of the old medical centre. In 2024 the institution got involved in court case in which one employee raised complaint for workplace mobbing against the director. Leskovac (Serbian Cyrillic alphabet, Serbian Cyrillic: Лесковац, ) is a List of cities in Serbia, city and the administrative center of the Jablanica District in Southern Serbia (Geographical Region), southern Serbia. European Holocaust Research Infrastructure
The European Holocaust Research Infrastructure (EHRI) is an international digital infrastructure and community. It is a joint undertaking of Holocaust historians, archivists, and specialists in digital humanities. The Jablanica District ( sr, Јабланички округ, Jablanički okrug, ) is one of nine administrative districts of Southern and Eastern Serbia. It expands in the south-eastern parts of Serbia. Vlasotince
Vlasotince ( sr-cyr, Власотинце) is a town and municipality located in Jablanica District The Jablanica District ( sr, Јабланички округ, Jablanički okrug, ) is one of nine administrative districts of Southern and Eastern Serbia. Crna Trava
Crna Trava ( sr-Cyr, Црна Трава, ) is a village and municipality located in the Jablanica District of southern Serbia. According to 2011 census, the population of the village is 434 inhabitants, while population of the municipality is 1,663. This is the smallest by population and poorest municipality in Serbia. Crna Trava is famous for its migrant builders, who are considered the best in the region and are colloquially described as "building half of Yugoslavia". Name The name of the village in Serbian translates to ''Black Grass''. According to the local myth, the origin of the name dates back to 1389, when Battle of Kosovo took place. Lebane
Lebane ( sr-cyr, Лебане) is a town and municipality located in Jablanica District of southern Serbia. According to the 2011 census, the town has a population of 10,062 inhabitants, while the municipality has 20,000 inhabitants. Bojnik
Bojnik ( sr-cyr, Бојник) is a town and municipality located in the Jablanica District of southern Serbia. According to 2011 census, the population of the town is 6,688 and population of the municipality was 11,073. History Much of the population settled in Bojnik after World War II. Medveđa ( sr-cyr, Медвеђа, ; sq, Medvegja, ) is a town and municipality located in the Jablanica District of southern Serbia. According to the 2011 census, the town has a population of 2,848 inhabitants, while the municipality has 7,438 inhabitants.
