''Historias de un Amor'' (English: ''Stories of a love'') is the 13th studio album by Mexican pop singer Manuel Mijares, Mijares. This album was released on 19 September 2000 and it was produces by Danilo Ballo and Emanuele Ruffinengo. It has songs from songwriters like Alejandro Lerner, Ana Cirré, Zucchero and some Italian songs covered by the same Mijares. Manuel Mijares
Manuel Mijares () (born José Manuel Mijares Morán, 7 February 1958 in Mexico City) is an adult-contemporary pop singer who is billed simply as "Mijares". He began his career at age 23 and achieved high popularity from the mid-80s to mid 90s in Latin America and Japan mainly. From 1997 to 2011 he was married to Mexican singer/actress Lucero, with whom he has two children. Biography He was born in Hospital Español in Mexico City. His mother was a dance teacher and he names her as an artistic influence. As a child, he was part of the elementary school chorus. He later formed musical groups with friends. As an adult, he received a degree in business administration in the Intercontinental University (Universidad Intercontinental México). This album was released on 22 September 1998 and it was the main theme of the telenovela of the same title. Sometimes it's called "El Privilegio de Amor" (''The privilege of love''). Alejandro Lerner
Alejandro Federico Lerner (born June 8, 1957) is an Argentine musician and singer-songwriter. He has written and sung countless songs including several hits, and his fame and recognition spread all over South America. Through his career, Lerner played in different bands, formed his own group, and worked with international artists such as Luis Miguel, Paul Anka, and Celine Dion. Lerner was born in Buenos Aires to a family of Ashkenazi Jewish origin. In 1974, he was discovered by Raúl Porchetto, who invited him to join a short-term project called Reino de Munt. Adelmo Fornaciari (; born 25 September 1955), more commonly known by his stage name Zucchero Fornaciari or simply Zucchero (), is an Italian singer, musician and songwriter.
