Hishoku No Sora
"Hishoku no Sora" (緋色の空, ''Scarlet-colored Sky'') is the second single of J-pop singer Mami Kawada. The title track was used as the first intro theme to the anime ''Shakugan no Shana''. This single peaked at the #11 spot on the Oricon charts and has sold 16,503 copies on its first week. It stayed at the Oricon weekly charts for 18 weeks and sold a total of 36,661 copies overall. The single will come in a limited CD+DVD edition (GNCA-0019) and a regular CD only edition (GNCA-0020). The DVD will contain the promotional video for ''Hishoku no Sora''. Reception The single peak ranked 11th on Oricon's Weekly Singles Chart and remained on the chart for eighteen weeks. Anime News Network's Theron Martin described the "synth-pop" track, "Hishoku no Sora", as "solid" and "enthusiastic (if not entirely original-sounding)". Mami Kawada
is a former Japanese pop singer and lyricist who was signed to NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan and also a member of I've Sound, a musical group which produces soundtracks for ''eroge'' (erotic games) and anime. Born and raised in Sapporo, Japan, Kawada made her musical debut in 2001 after being discovered by her music teacher Eiko Shimamiya with the release of the song "Kaze to Kimi o Daite". She released her first single, a split-single with musician Kotoko (musician), Kotoko, in 2002, and her first solo single was released in 2005. Her first album, Seed (Mami Kawada album), ''Seed'', was released in 2006. She first performed overseas in Taiwan in 2007 and later appeared at the Bangkok Comic Con in Thailand in 2014. ''Seed'' is Mami Kawada's debut album which was released on March 29, 2006. This album is under Geneon and was produced by I've Sound. This album also includes her first two singles " Radiance / Chi ni Kaeru: On the Earth", and "Hishoku no Sora" and the collaboration single " Face of Fact (Resolution Ver.)" with KOTOKO. I've Sound
I've Sound, or simply called , is a Japanese techno/trance music production group based in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Led by Kazuya Takase, it features the talents of seasoned "sound creators" and many different vocalists, known as to their fans. Shakugan No Shana
, also known simply as , is a Japanese light novel series written by Yashichiro Takahashi with illustrations by Noizi Ito. ASCII Media Works published 26 novels from November 2002 to November 2012 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The story focuses on Yuji Sakai, a high school boy who inadvertently becomes involved in an age-old conflict between forces of balance and imbalance in existence. In the process, he befriends a fighter for the balancing force and names her "Shana". The series incorporates fantasy and slice of life elements into its tale. Maiko Iuchi
is a Japanese composer and arranger. Much of her work is for video games and anime. Biography Iuchi was born in Hiroshima. She learned piano and percussion from a young age. As a high school student, she performed as a drummer in various bands. She graduated from the music design program at the Kunitachi College of Music and began her career working for video game hardware and software company SNK. In 2002, she left SNK to work for music production group I've as an outsource affiliate. In 2013 she became a full time employee at I've. In 2017 she retired from her full time position at the company but remained as a partner.
