Hisham Bharoocha
Hisham Akira Bharoocha (born March 12, 1974 in Niigata Prefecture, Niigata, Japan) is an American musician and visual artist best known as an ex-member of the Providence, Rhode Island, Providence bands Lightning Bolt (band), Lightning Bolt and Black Dice. Currently, Bharoocha is involved in his band Soft Circle and works as an artist in New York City. Biography Early life Hisham was born in Niigata, Japan, to a Japanese mother and Burmese father. As a newborn, the family moved to Tokyo and then to Toronto when he was two, then to Los Angeles when he was six, and spent the rest of his elementary school years in San Diego. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. ''77 Boa Drum'' is a live album by Japanese experimental music group Boredoms, recorded on July 7, 2007, at the Empire–Fulton Ferry section of Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn, New York City, New York. It was released on two CDs, plus a 20-minute all-region NTSC DVD documenting the performance, mounted in a large hardcover book with photos and full credits. In Japan the package sells for 7,777 yen (including sales tax), about US$70. Brian Gibson (musician)
Brian Gibson (born July 25, 1975) is a musician, artist, and video game developer based out of Providence, Rhode Island. Gibson is best known as the bassist for the band Lightning Bolt. In the summer of 2015 he co-founded the game development company Drool. At Drool, he created the art and music for the video game '' Thumper'' and co-designed the game alongside Marc Flury. Thumper was released with critical acclaim in October 2016. He was previously a lead artist working at video game company Harmonix since 2001, but quit in the summer of 2015.
