Fumio Hisamatsu
was a Japanese manga artist and character designer who frequently worked with TCJ in the 1960s and illustrated manga adaptations of their television series. In particular he created the manga for ''Super Jetter'' as well as serving as the anime's character designer. He also did the character designs for TCJ's ''Adventure on Gaboten Island''. Hisamatsu wanted to be a manga artist since he was in third grade, and began writing manga in junior high school. His first work was and was also his professional debut. Shiho Hisamatsu ( ja, 久松志保, born 4 July 1979) is a Japanese former tennis player. Hisamatsu won seven singles titles and nine doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. She reached career-high rankings by the WTA of 143 in singles and 185 in doubles. In 2019, Hisamatsu only played six matches (five in singles, one win) on the pro circuit. Since December 2019, she has not been playing any more. Shin'ichi Hisamatsu
was a philosopher, Zen Buddhist scholar, and Japanese tea ceremony (''sadō'' or ''chadō'', 茶道, "the way of tea") master. He was a professor at Kyoto University and received an honorary doctoral degree from Harvard University. Biography Hisamatsu was born in Gifu Prefecture, Japan. He entered Kyoto University in 1912 and studied philosophy with Kitarō Nishida, one of the most prominent Japanese philosophers of his time and the author of ''An Inquiry into the Good''. With Nishida’s recommendation, Hisamatsu joined the Rinzai Zen monastery of Myōshin-ji in Kyoto in 1915 and studied Zen Buddhism with Zen Master Ikegami Shōsan. After his monastic life at Myōshin-ji, he established his original philosophical view, which consists of both Eastern (mainly Zen Buddhist) and Western philosophy.
