Hiroyuki Imaishi
is a Japanese key animator and animation director and one of the co-founders of Studio Trigger. His style is marked by fast and frantic animation combined with elaborate storyboarding and punchy direction. Prior to founding Trigger, he was an animator and director at Gainax. His most well-known works include ''Gurren Lagann'' (2007), ''Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt'' (2010), '' Kill la Kill'' (2013), ''Promare'' (2019), and '' Cyberpunk: Edgerunners'' (2022). Early career After drawing the manga for doujinshi circle, Imaishi worked as a creator. He worked at Gainax in 1995 as an in-between animator for ''Neon Genesis Evangelion''. Plot Luluco is a normal girl living in the solar system frontier space colonization zone Ogikubo. Her father works for the zone's Space Patrol division. Despite being a part of this wondrous district full of alien immigrants, Luluco often lives an ordinary life as a student. When her father is accidentally frozen by alien contraband, Luluco is forced to request help from her father's Space Patrol division. She is appointed a member of the Space Patrol by the division chief, named Over Justice, in order to pay the fees required to revive her father. is a weekly series of original net animations released as part of a collaboration between Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara and Dwango, consisting of various anime shorts produced by many directors. The project began release from 7 November 2014 and is streamed worldwide on Niconico. As of December 2018, the website and all materials related to it have been temporarily closed off to the public. Yoshinori Kanada
was an influential Japanese animator originally from Nara, Japan. He is best known for his popular 1984 work ''Birth'', one of the first (after Dallos) original video animations released in the market. Though he did not create many character designs, he was famous for his character animation skills. His work on ''Galaxy Express 999'' (1979) and '' Harmagedon'' (1983) were very influential to an entire generation of animators in Japan. These two works also served as partial inspiration for Takashi Murakami's Superflat art movement. During the 1980s and 1990s, he worked closely with director Hayao Miyazaki on several movies from '' Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind'' to ''Princess Mononoke''. The Tokyo International Anime Fair also known as was one of the largest anime trade fairs in the world, held annually in Tokyo, Japan. The first event was held in 2002 as "Tokyo International Anime Fair 21". The event was held at Tokyo Big Sight, a convention and exhibition center in Tokyo Bay, in late March. Usually, the first one or two days of the fair were weekdays and the entrance was open only to industry members and the press; the last two days were scheduled on the weekend and the fair was open to the public. Besides being an international trade fair, the TAF included related events such as business symposia and other events. Notably, the Tokyo Anime Awards were given for domestic and foreign creations and creators in the event with the name of the event.
