Hiroshi Ogawa (animator)
(August 12, 1951 – August 7, 2013) was a Japanese animator. In rare cases, his name is credited in hiragana. In March 1976, he graduated from Tokyo Designer Gakuin College and joined Tsuchida Production soon afterward. Following Tsuchida's dissolution in March 1983, Ogawa established Studio 501. Afterward, he was attached to Disney Japan (now The Answer Studio) from April 1987 to March 1988 and freelanced for Shin-Ei Animation starting April 1989. He notably served as the animation director of '' Crayon Shin-chan''. In 2006, he was inaugurated as a professor in Kyoto Seika University's animation department. An animator is an artist who creates multiple images, known as frames, which give an illusion of movement called animation when displayed in rapid sequence. Animators can work in a variety of fields including film, television, and video games. Animation is closely related to filmmaking and like filmmaking is extremely labor-intensive, which means that most significant works require the collaboration of several animators. The methods of creating the images or frames for an animation piece depend on the animators' artistic styles and their field. Zenmai Zamurai
is a short subject children's cartoon created by Momoko Maruyama and Ryōtarō Kuwamoto (m&k). It aired daily in the mornings and afternoons on NHK Educational TV in Japan. Two short features were shown in the mornings and afternoons both five minutes long. Its exclusion from the 2010-11 NHK programming schedule signifies the end of its run on the station, but will still be shown in reruns on their Hi-Vision BS premium channel. Story 200 years ago, Zenmai Zamurai (Zennosuke at that time) was a thief by profession (albeit not a very skilled one). While stealing from a house one night, he fell down a well and died. is a Japanese manga and anime series Children's anime and manga, for young children by Atsuko Ueno. The anime was produced by Nihon Ad Systems, NAS and TV Tokyo. Kotencotenko replaces the previous anime series: Onmyou Taisenki on the TV Tokyo Thursdays 06:00pm – 06:30pm slot. Story Kotencotenco is a gag strip anime for especially younger children. Nonochan
is a yonkoma manga series begun in 1991 by Hisaichi Ishii originally serialized as in the '' Asahi Shimbun'' in Japan. When the series first began, it was generally focused on all of the members of the Yamada family. As the series progressed, the daughter (Nonoko, or "Nono-chan") became the most popular character among readers and more of the strips focused on her and her point of view. In 1997, the series title was changed to reflect this change of focus. The ''Asahi Shimbun'' continues to feature this manga series as of October 2007. Ojarumaru
is a Japanese anime series created by Rin Inumaru, produced by NHK Enterprises, and animated by Gallop. The series has aired on NHK E-Tele since October 1998, making it the second longest-running anime on NHK behind '' Nintama Rantaro'', and the third longest-running anime series to date. The series focuses on a 5-year-old Heian-era prince named Ojarumaru Sakanoue who accidentally time-warps to modern Japan and has adventures there while dodging a trio of young oni who try to get back a scepter that he stole from Great King Enma.
