is a Japanese actor, voice actor and singer whose major roles include Eiji Kikumaru in '' The Prince of Tennis'', Tobias in '' Pokémon anime series'', Kenji Harima in '' School Rumble'', Hisoka in '' Hunter × Hunter (1999)'', Katsuya Jonouchi in '' Yu-Gi-Oh! Read Or Die (OVA)
''Read or Die'' is an OVA based on the manga of the same name by Hideyuki Kurata. It was created by Studio Deen in early 2001 and distributed outside Japan by Manga Entertainment in 2003. The series, directed by Koji Masunari, features the main characters of the original manga such as Yomiko Readman and Joker. It is a continuation of the manga storyline, taking place a few years after the events of the manga. Story The first episode begins with a cold open, set in Washington DC, where the White House has been evacuated. The samurai Gennai Hiraga appears on top of the White House and annihilates it using a mysterious power. Later in the episode, it is revealed that the US Library of Congress has been attacked, although this is not actually shown. Meanwhile, in Tokyo, Yomiko Readman gets her hands on an ultra-rare German first edition book, "die Unsterbliche Liebe" (or "The Undying Love"). , also known as ''Chance: Pop Session'', is a 2001 anime produced by Madhouse. The series aired from May 21 to August 27, 2001 and ran for 13 episodes. Three young girls—Akari, Yuki, and Nozomi—meet at a concert and set out to follow in the footsteps of their idol, Reika, and become music stars. They enroll in the prestigious music school that produced Reika and are placed in the "S class" due to their potential. While ''Chance Pop Session'' could be characterized as a romantic comedy in the shōjo category, it does have some elements of tragedy. This is one of the few anime that for which ADV Films was on the production committee during their time in the anime industry. In the US, they released three volumes of videos on VHS and DVD in 2003. Robots in Disguise were an English electropunk band composed of Dee Plume (vocals and guitar), Sue Denim (vocals and bass) and a changing line-up of backing musicians. The group released four studio albums between 2000 and 2011. In 2019, they announced their reunion and an upcoming album. Plot The story stars Tsubaki Sadamitsu, a young delinquent and leader of the Corpse Gang, who has a chance encounter with an alien robot working to capture banished intergalactic criminals who are arriving on Earth named . When he ends up causing the robot's body to be destroyed as a result, Sadamitsu discovers not only can its head operate independently without the body, he can also wear the head as a helmet to gain some of the robot's powers.
