Hip Hop Locos
''Hip Hop Locos'' is the second studio album by A Lighter Shade of Brown. It was released in 1992 through Pump Records with distribution via Quality Records. ''Hip Hop Locos'' was not a success, peaking at No. 87 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. " Homies" made it to No. 57 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and No. 13 on the Hot Rap Singles. ""Interrogated Cause I'm Brown" was also released as a single. The duo supported the album with a North American tour. Production The recording sessions took place at Paramount Recording Studios, at Image Recorders, at 38 Fresh, and at Ameraycan Studios in Hollywood. The Miracles
The Miracles (also known as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles from 1965 to 1972) were an American vocal group that was the first successful recording act for Berry Gordy's Motown Records, and one of the most important and most influential groups in pop, rock and roll, soul and R&B music history. The Mar-Keys, formed in 1958, were an United States, American recording studio, studio session musician, session musical ensemble, band for Stax Records, in Memphis, Tennessee, in the 1960s. As the first house band for the label, their backing music formed the foundation for the early 1960s Stax sound. Lawrence Muggerud (born January 28, 1968), professionally known by his stage name DJ Muggs, is an American DJ, audio engineer and record producer. "Allá en el Rancho Grande" is a Mexican song. It was written in the 1920s for a musical theatrical work, but now is most commonly associated with the eponymous 1936 Mexican motion picture ''Allá en el Rancho Grande'', in which it was sung by renowned actor and singer Tito Guízar and with mariachis. Bing Crosby recorded the song on April 3, 1939 as "El Rancho Grande" and it reached the No. 6 spot in the charts during a ten-week stay in 1939. Crosby recorded the song again in 1954 for the album Bing: A Musical Autobiography. The song was featured in the film '' Mexicali Rose'' (1939) starring Gene Autry.
