Hino 600
The Hino 600 (also known as the 165, 175, 185, 268, 338 and 358 nameplates, and as the 'L Series' since the 2021 model year) is a Conventional truck, conventional cab medium-duty truck manufactured in the US by the Japanese manufacturer Hino since 2004. First generation (2004) The first-generation 600 was introduced in 2004 for the United States and in 2005 for the Canadian market to replace the Hino Ranger#Fourth generation (1989–1999), Space Ranger (1999–2002), fourth generation F-Series cabover. A new face-lifted 600 was introduced in 2007 for both the American and Canadian markets. Some Knock-down kit, CKD kits have been imported from Japan. Hino Motors
Hino Motors, Ltd., commonly known as Hino, is a Japanese manufacturer of commercial vehicles and diesel engines (including those for trucks, buses and other vehicles) headquartered in Hino, Tokyo. The company was established in 1942 as a corporate spin-off from previous manufacturers. Hino Motors is a large constituent of the Nikkei 225 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Hino Ranger
The Hino Ranger ( ja, 日野レンジャー) is a medium or heavy duty commercial truck manufactured by Japanese automobile manufacturer Hino Motors since 1964. Outside of Japan, it is also known as the '500 Series' and as part of the 'F-Series,' 'G-Series' and 'S-Series'. There has also been a partial divergence into a heavier and a lighter range, with the latter distinguished by various prefixes or suffixes such as "Day Cab Ranger" or "Ranger 2". In certain countries, the Ranger was only available as a medium or heavy truck before models with low weight ratings, like the FA and FB, were replaced by the Hino Dutro. Hino Dutro
The Hino Dutro ( ja, 日野デュトロ) is a light commercial truck manufactured by Hino Motors. It is a rebadged version of the Toyota Dyna. Like the Dyna and its twin Toyoace, the Dutro is built on the U300 platform for the standard cab, or U400 platform for the wide cab and offered in many different chassis type suitable for different purposes. The Dutro took over from the earlier Ranger 2 (and Ranger 3), a badge-engineered version of the Daihatsu Delta series. Outside of Japan, it is also known as the '300 series'. In North America, it has been marketed as the 'M Series' since the 2021 model year. The Dutro is sold in Australia (currently it is rebadged as the 300 series), Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka and other countries in Latin America.
