Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) is an Indian Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management companies. It is headquartered in Mumbai. HCC was founded by Industrialist Seth Walchand Hirachand in 1926. HCC has executed a majority of India’s landmark infrastructure projects, including 29% of India’s hydropower capacity, over 65% of India’s nuclear power generation capacity, 3,800 km of roads and expressways, 375 bridges and 337 km of complex tunnelling. Teesta Low Dam - IV Hydropower Plant is a run-of-the-river hydroelectric station built on the Teesta River at Kalijhora, Kalimpong district, West Bengal. Geography Location It is located in Kalimpong district, West Bengal, about 350 meters above the confluence of the Kalijora river Teesta River and in the 1.5 kilometer kiln of Teesta Bridge near Teesta Bazar village. 18.3 km downstream from the Teesta bridge near at Tista Bazar village. Delhi–Faridabad Skyway
Delhi Faridabad Skyway (D F Skyway) is a 4.4 km long, 6-lane wide elevated highway that connects Delhi with Faridabad, a prominent city in National Capital Region. It was inaugurated on 29 November 2010. The project was undertaken by concessionaire "Badarpur Faridabad Tollway Limited", a subsidiary of Hindustan Construction Company Limited. The highway begins at Badarpur, Delhi and ends at Sector 37, Faridabad, Haryana. It is a part of NHAI's North-South corridor, National Highway 44, which connects Srinagar to Kanyakumari. Chennai Bypass Road
The Chennai Bypass Road is a full-access controlled expressway that interconnects four radial Indian National Highways around Chennai, India covering a distance of from Perungalathur (near Tambaram) on NH-32 to puzhal on NH-16 via Maduravoyal at a cost of 4.05 billion. Constructed as part of the National Highway Development Project to decongest the city of transiting vehicles, the expressway interconnects NH-32, NH-48, NH-716 and NH-16. This expressway now forms a part of the circular transportation corridor. Phases Phase I The first phase is six-lane fully access controlled carriageway from Perungalathur on the Grand Southern Trunk Road (NH 32) to Maduravoyal which lies on the Chennai–Bangalore NH-48. Allahabad Bypass Expressway
Prayagraj Bypass Expressway is an Controlled-access highway located in the district of Prayagraj. It is the Asia's longest bypass in terms of length. The project is a section of National Highway 19. It forms the part of the Golden Quadrilateral, under the Kanpur-Prayagraj-Varanasi section of Delhi-Kolkata stretch. The primary purpose of construction was to reduce heavy traffic on the Grand Trunk Road through the city of Prayagraj. Construction The total work was divided into 3 contract packages. The Idukki Dam is a double curvature arch dam constructed across the Periyar River in a narrow gorge between two granite hills locally known as '' Kuravan'' and ''Kurathi'' in Idukki, Kerala, India. At , it is one of the highest arch dams in Asia. It is constructed and owned by the Kerala State Electricity Board. It supports a 780 MW hydroelectric power station in Moolamattom, which started generating power on 4 October 1975. The dam type is a concrete, double curvature parabolic, thin arc dam. The Indo-Canadian project was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on February 17, 1976. This dam was constructed along with two other dams at Cheruthoni and Kulamavu. Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (or Kudankulam NPP or KKNPP) is the largest nuclear power station in India, situated in Kudankulam in the Tirunelveli district of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Nimoo Bazgo HEP
Nimo or Nyemo () is a village and the headquarters of an eponymous community development block in the Leh district of Ladakh, India. It is located in the Leh tehsil, 35 km from Leh. Nimoo is a stop for all the river rafting groups and is the main starting point for the annually held all India river rafting expedition, which is done in the Indus River. The temperature here varies from 40 °C in summer to −29 °C in winter. Due to such a harsh climate and extreme weather conditions, this area has very little vegetation cover (as seen in the picture on the right). It has a hydroelectric power plant known as the Nimu-Bazgo dam. Magnet Hill is a gravity defying road 7.5 km southeast of Nimoo.
