Hilmar Leon Jakobsen
Hilmar Leon Jakobsen (born 2 August 1997) is a Faroese footballer who plays as a forward for HB and the Faroe Islands national team. Career Club Jakobsen has played football as well as handball, as a handball player he played for the Faroese club H71 and the national team. He played football as a young boy for HB Tórshavn for the U18 from 2013 to 2015 and for the U21 team in 2018, but due to injuries he chose to play handball instead of football. In June 2020 HB Tórshavn had several players who could not play because of injuries, so they asked Hilmar Leon Jakobsen if he could help them. He played at first in the second best division three matches, the first one was on 15 June 2020. On 4 July he played his first match for the first time in several years in the top tier. On 20 August the same year he played a match for HB Tórshavn in Europa League. Havnar Bóltfelag
Havnar Bóltfelag (HB, lit. 'Harbour football club') is a Faroese football club, and is one of the oldest in the Faroe Islands. The club was founded in 1904, and is based in the city of Tórshavn. Home matches are played in Gundadalur and they compete in the Faroe Islands Premier League. History HB Tórshavn was founded in October 1904. The club's first board was elected in a meeting, on 14 November 1904. The board consisted of three people: Mads Andrias Winther, Joan Pauli Joensen and Jakup Mouritsen. The future mayor of Tórshavn (1909–12), Mads Andrias Winther, was HB's first chairman. HB's first match against TB Tvøroyri took place on 23 May 1909, in Tvøroyri. The match ended in a 2–2 draw. Havnar Bóltfelag II
Havnar Bóltfelag II, or simply HB II, is a Faroese football club based in Tórshavn. It is the reserve team of the Faroe Islands Premier League club Havnar Bóltfelag. Reserve teams in the Faroe Islands play in the same league system as their senior team, rather than in a reserve league, but they cannot play in the same division as their senior team, so HB II is ineligible for promotion to the Faroe Islands Premier League and also cannot play in the Faroe Islands Cup. Faroe Islands National Football Team
The Faroe Islands national football team ( fo, Føroyska fótbóltsmanslandsliðið) represents the Faroe Islands in association football and is governed by the Faroe Islands Football Association (FSF). The FSF became a member of FIFA in 1988 and UEFA in 1990 and represents the fourth-smallest UEFA country by population. The Lithuania national football team ( lt, Lietuvos nacionalinė futbolo rinktinė) represents Lithuania in international football and is controlled by the Lithuanian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Lithuania.
