Hilmar Myhra
Hilmar Arnold Myhra (4 June 1915 – 13 April 2013) was a Norwegian ski jumper who competed before World War II. He won the opening competition of the hill Vikersundbakken in February 1936, and held the hill record of 85 meters for a few years. It was broken by Arnholdt Kongsgård in 1946. He also won a bronze medal in the individual large hill at the 1938 Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti, and finished sixth in the same event at the 1939 Nordic World Ski Championships in Zakopane. Myhra also won the ski jumping event at the Holmenkollen ski festival in 1940, the last winner of the event before Norway would be invaded by Germany during World War II. – |

Paul Hilmar Jensen (28 April 1930 – 17 July 2004), was a Norwegian philatelist whose collections often won gold at philatelic shows, and whose work in community service in the field of philately was recognized by King Harald V of Norway. Collecting interests Jensen had wide knowledge of the entire field of philately but specialized in the collection and study of postage stamps and postal history of certain countries, especially Czechoslovakia, Cook Islands, Saudi Arabia, and Norway. His exhibits at various stamp shows generally won the gold prize. Philatelic activity Jensen was a founder and the first president of the ''Norwegian Postal History Society'', served as president of the ''Norwegian Philatelic Federation'' and the ''FIP Postal History Commission''. Geir Hilmar Haarde
Geir Hilmar Haarde (; born 8 April 1951) is an Icelandic politician, who served as prime minister of Iceland from 15 June 2006 to 1 February 2009 and as president of the Nordic Council in 1995. Geir was chairman of the Icelandic Independence Party from 2005 to 2009. Since 23 February 2015 he has served as the ambassador of Iceland to the United States and several Latin American countries. Geir initially led a coalition between his party and the Progressive Party. After the 2007 parliamentary election, in which the Independence Party increased its share of the vote, Geir renewed his term as Prime Minister, leading a coalition between his party and the Social Democratic Alliance. Hilmar Wäckerle
Hilmar Wäckerle (24 November 1899 – 2 July 1941) was a commander in the Waffen-SS of Nazi Germany during World War II. He was the first commandant of Dachau concentration camp. War service The son of a Munich notary public, Wäckerle was sent to the Bavarian Army officer school at the age of 14 in order to pursue his chosen career. Hilmar August Reksten (29 October 1897 – 1 July 1980) was a Norwegian shipping magnate. In the autumn of 1973 he was counted among the world's richest men, possessing a fleet worth about £300,000,000. At his death in 1980, all was lost; he left behind a debt of about £100,000,000. Background Hilmar Reksten grew up in a small flat at Nordnes, a central quarter of Bergen. He was the eldest of three siblings; there was a younger brother called Hjalmar (1900–1961), and a sister, Sofie. Their mother, Helene Monsen Søndervåg (1869–1902), died when Reksten was only four years old.
